Logan (Mehl-Laituri) Isaac is an author, advocate and academic who focuses on the people and ideas left in the wake of war. He is executive officer of Centurions Guild, which supports military veterans and their families by “creating a space in which they can discern the distinction between Christian faith and military service.” He is the author of “Reborn on the Fourth of July: The Challenge of Faith, Patriotism & Conscience,” a memoir which tells the story of his journey from soldier to peace activist. He has a master's of theological studies from Duke Divinity School and is a candidate for master's degree in theology at St Mary’s College, the University of St Andrews. Nurturing Children Through Worship and Prayer Initiative

A new grant is available to support endeavors that help children come to know and love God and grow in faith.

The Nurturing Children Through Worship and Prayer Initiative aims to support programs that help congregations strengthen worship and prayer practices that respect how children experience God and express their faith, include children with disabilities, draw upon the arts, create opportunities for Bible storytelling, and connect worship to the daily lives of children and families.

Proposals are due by 5 p.m. (ET) on May 6, 2024.
