Kendall Vanderslice is a master of theological studies (M.T.S.) student at Duke Divinity School. She carries her former career as a baker and pastry chef into her studies, exploring the intersection of food and theology. Vanderslice earned a B.A. in anthropology from Wheaton College and an M.L.A. in gastronomy from Boston University. She is the author of the forthcoming book, "We Will Feast: Rethinking Dinner, Worship, and the Community of God."
