Faith & Leadership has won three awards – including a first place for the mobile version of the online magazine -- in the Associated Church Press’ 2012  "Best of the Christian Press" contest.

They were announced April 4 at the annual ACP convention in Indianapolis. The ACP, founded in 1916, is the oldest interdenominational religious press association in North America and its membership comprises newspapers, newsletters, magazines, journals, news services, e-zines and Web sites.

Faith & Leadership received an award of excellence (first place) for the mobile website. The judges commented that the mobile site is a good representation of the desktop version, and that it is clean and easy to navigate.

In addition, the online magazine also received an honorable mention for the site overall in the best independent website or e-zine category, as well as honorable mentions for the stories Dinner -- and the gospel -- is served, at St. Lydia's and No more excuses: Nonprofits give social media a try.

The judges commented that the St. Lydia’s “is a unique, fascinating church that the author reveals to the reader, not just tells them about. Clear, concise, but with vivid language and a bright, conversational tone.”
