Michael Emerson

Michael O. Emerson is the Cline Professor of Sociology and the Co-Director of the Institute for Urban Research at Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is the co-author of 10 books, including “Divided by Faith” and “United by Faith” and the just published “Religion Matters: What Sociology Teaches Us About Religion in Our World.”
